Cleveland Juniors Young Leaders
Each year a group of 12 year 5 pupils at Cleveland Junior School get involved in the Young Leaders Award course.
This year the 12 pupils have enjoyed developing the skills of communication, organisation and leadership through a variety of sporting situations including leading warm up activities, scoring for Virtual Multi Skills lessons in both the infant and junior schools and leading activities in a competition between Cleveland Infant School and Uphall Primary School.
On Tuesday 13th July, their last lesson, they led a session for the 2 classes in years 1 and 2 in Cleveland Infants who had won the SAQ competition that had been going on throughout the whole of the summer term. Everyone had fun and enjoyed the session.
All 12 leaders have worked hard throughout the course, they have all improved and have been a pleasure to teach.
