Cleveland Year 2 Event
For the first time in the Valentines family we decided to hold a year 2 event involving 2 schools and young leaders.
On Wednesday 24th March, we were all wondering what the weather would be like, but we were lucky to have a mild, dry morning with no wind – perfect! As 24 young leaders from year 5 in Cleveland Juniors helped to organise and set up the multi skill activity stations, 30 year 2 pupils from Uphall were walking over to Cleveland Infants to take part in the event. .
The event was a great success. The year 5 leaders were excellent and ran their activities with enthusiasm. The year 2 pupils made new friends, worked together with effort throughout and really enjoyed themselves.
Thank you to everyone involved – maybe we can do this again next year!
