Competition Manager
Claire Smith has been a Competition Manager since January 2007, and has worked specifically in Redbridge since April 2008. It is her role to work with PDM's, SSCo's, PLT's, Sports Development and other sport providers to ensure that all children across the Mayfield and Caterham School Sports Partnerships are being given the opportunity to take part in competition. This might mean introducing new competitions, producing competition resources or supporting the organisers of existing competitions.
Claire also ensures that all competitions link in with other areas of PESSYP such as school-club links, volunteering and inclusion. Some of her projects which your school may have been involved in already, include the Net and Wall Festival, Virtual Multiskills and the Secondary RFU Emerging Schools Programme.
